Logging in as a user |
Before you can use the online report creation system, you need to login. Each user has an account on the system and is assigned a ‘User ID’ and a ‘Password’. The administrator specifies the user name and initial password. This ensures that only you have access to your account and that your patient reports remain confidential. You can change your password – in fact, it’s encouraged. However, make sure it’s a password you’ll remember and give the administrator a copy of it, just in case.
To connect to PureMed’s online documentation solution:
1. Go to www.puremed.com.
2. Enter your user ID and password.
4. When done, click ‘Sign In’.
If the login was successful, the ‘Login’ button should now read ‘Logout’ and you should get a welcome message with your name. At this point, you can choose to create a new report, open an existing report or create a report using a template.
After each use of the documentation solution, it is recommended that the surgeon logout by clicking on the 'Logout' button.
